Merlin adds Rode and LiveU to its portfolio of brands

Latin America. Merlin Distributor continues to grow its portfolio of brands available for Latin America with the most recent additions of Rode and LiveU.

In the case of the Australian manufacturer, it will assume the distribution of the brand's product line in the markets of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, with solutions for a wide range of creative categories, from the film markets to podcasting, streaming to studio recording and all the creation of intermediate content.

In this regard, Ian Llorens, Head of Sales Support for the Americas at RØDE said: "We are very excited to be able to offer our brand in these countries through Merlin Distributor, aiming to grow our distributor networks to make our products available to all customers in these regions" – stating about the reason for choosing the master distributor: "Merlin Distributor's long history of distributing well-known industry brands in Latin America, along with their established distribution networks in these countries and genuine interest in what our brand has to offer, made them a clear choice when determining who we should work with."

LiveU Solo Pro for the entire region
The second brand it adds to its portfolio is LiveU and its Solo Pro family of products, for which Merlin Distributor becomes the master representative for Latin America and the Caribbean. The presentation of this commercial alliance will be made official in Brazil, within the framework of SET Expo 2024.

"With Merlin Distributor LiveU expands the regional presence of the Solo Pro family by incorporating 146 commercial points in 20 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, which will translate into a direct sales service to LiveU Solo Pro's growing customer base, in short, we will be closer to independent videographers, event production houses, digital media, Youtubers, musicians and streaming professionals, among other very important Prosumers for LiveU," said José Luis Reyes, LiveU's Vice President for Latin America.

For his part, Valdiney Marcelino, Commercial Director of Merlin Distributor pointed out that: "This important agreement with LiveU is for Merlin Distributor the result of the work we have been developing in the continent for many years, and in the permanent expansion plan that we have been offering to our partners in each country, having the best product offer in all lines of the audiovisual segment. both professional, semi-professional and A/V; to this last business area we have added a special work team for commercial development and technical assistance that is already giving excellent results in the market."
