ARRI Launches Multi-Camera System for Live Productions

ARRI lanzó sistema multicámara para producciones en vivo

Latin America. ARRI announced the ALEXA 35 Live Multicam System, making the cinematic image quality of its flagship ALEXA 35 camera available to the world of live productions, including concerts, sports, esports, fashion, corporate, talk shows, game shows, places of worship and more.

The system integrates seamlessly into existing live production environments and provides the full functionality of a system camera while maintaining the flexibility of an attachable camera setup. It joins ARRI's lenses, lights, stabilizers and custom solutions that together demonstrate the company's commitment to the live entertainment industry.

Over the past decade, a wide variety of live production applications have relied on ARRI equipment for its exceptional image quality and reliability. International concert tours such as those of Ed Sheeran, Adele, Coldplay, the release of the Rolling Stones album and major halftime shows at some major sporting events are just a sampling of the performances that have been captured by ARRI's Multi-Camera System.

The ALEXA 35 Live Multi-Camera System combines the new ALEXA 35 Live camera, the new LPS-1 Live Production System (comprising a fiber camera adapter and a fiber base station), the Skaarhoj CPR, and a host of custom accessories. These include the new ARRI Touchdown Base Stage and Receiver Stage, an adjustable monitor arch, an extra-long camera handle, a tally indicator light with camera ID display, a rain cover and a new quick-adjust ARRI Large Lens Adapter for faster box lens assembly than ever before.

During live productions, the highest quality ProRes can be recorded in-house, providing flexibility in post. Internal recording also allows for autonomous operation of the camera without the need for the Fiber Adapter. The modular lens mounting can be toggled between LPL, PL, EF and B4, allowing for a wide selection of lenses for different applications. ALEXA 35 Live camera owners can even upgrade to the full functionality of the ALEXA 35 using the optional Cine License.

Extra Options for Creative Looks
ARRI cameras are renowned for making it easy to create strikingly beautiful images, and the ALEXA 35 Live multi-camera system provides all the common key adjustment controls in live production to continue this tradition in the realm of live streaming. But the system goes even further, with additional creative options that can quickly give any project a fresh look.

First of all, the ARRI Look Archives can define a unique image character through specially developed Multicam looks. At the touch of a button, one of the 87 preset looks from the built-in ARRI library can be activated, adapting to a wide variety of shooting scenarios. Second, ARRI Textures are a unique method of modifying grain and contrast. The camera includes five multi-camera textures and eight ARRI cinematic-style textures.

In short, the ALEXA 35 Live multi-camera system is a complete set of production tools to meet the demands of live content producers, combining the stunning ARRI look with easy integration into existing live production environments.
