Panasonic Week was held in Argentina

Panasonic

Argentina. After CaperShow 2023, Panasonic Week was held in Buenos Aires, which began with conferences and meetings with production companies and outdoor mobile companies, focusing mainly on the presentation of the AK-UC4000 camera.

This week of work was organized by the company BVS master, Panasonic's distributor in Argentina, and was attended by Rodrigo Costa and Renato Goya, Sales Manager and Pre-Sales Engineer respectively of Panasonic do Brasil.

The Panasonic Partner Day, held at the VHL offices in Buenos Aires, was attended by Karen Inatome, Sales Manager for Canada and Latin America at Panasonic Japan. The conferences were given by Rafael Plaça, Pre-Sales Engineer of Panasonic do Brasil, who presented the current portfolio of projectors, cameras, switchers and solutions for the broadcast market in Latin America, in addition to the presentation of the brand's value proposition, reinforcing its structure for pre and post sales for the entire region. with a 3-year warranty on their products and the support they offer for business partners in Argentina.

Ready for the future
For Rafael Plaça, the highlights that were shown were "our line of PTZ cameras, mainly the high-end models AW-UR100, AW-UE150 and AW-UE160, which are perfect for broadcast applications, added to a detail provided by our studio cameras, especially in the AK-UC4000 model, where we took this opportunity so that our customers could have direct contact with the camera that we had on display and was tested and tested by those present". He added: "We see the UC4000 camera as an excellent product that meets the main demands of the market in our region, which is investing in a new 4K structure. Without a doubt, this camera offers the highest quality images at a very competitive price."

Finally, and focusing on the balance obtained by the guests and the Argentine market for the Panasonic product line, Plaça said: "The reception has been excellent, so we have talked with the guests, they realize that we have many opportunities. Our products meet today's demands, are future-proof with advanced features, and we have an excellent value proposition that adds a lot to the entire industry. I want to thank VHL and its entire team, as well as all the visitors for this wonderful opportunity to exchange knowledge."

Rodrigo Costa referred to Panasonic's success together with BVS at Caper Show 2023 and the important expectations that are being generated with the Argentine professional market: "We are very happy with the partnership we have made with VHL. Since we started working in synergy, we have carried out some joint actions to strengthen trust and qualification with our resellers, which are always of great importance to us. I think we're on the right track, and that's why we see new opportunities emerging more and more frequently."

After these events held at the VHL offices, they continued the week with visits to strategic clients, from Argentine Public Television, Channel 9, among other television stations, to the production company Non Stop, Boca TV and the Universal Church, to name a few, with the presence of Karen Inatome, Rafael Plaça and José Lobo. Panasonic's line of PTZ cameras was also presented there, focusing mainly on the UE 160 PTZ camera: "We have provided demos of the UE 160 PTZ so that all customers can test it at their ease and do all the relevant rigorous tests so that they can appreciate its high quality," said Lobo.

Panasonic Road Trip on the agenda for 2024
Although the initial plan was to carry out the Panasonic Road Trip through Argentina, in the same way that the Japanese company has been doing in different Latin American countries throughout the year, it was not the right time to do it because it was the week before the elections for president of the nation in Argentina.

"We had planned to make this tour this year with presentations and events in cities such as Córdoba, Rosario and Mendoza among others, in which we were going to do it together with our distributors in each city, who are our priority to always work together with them providing all our support and knowhow, but considering that at this time all the channels are working in the preparation of all their productions for the presidential elections, we prefer to focus at the moment only on Buenos Aires and reschedule this tour that we will do," Lobo said.

Finally, Facundo Favelukes, CEO of VHL, highlighted the unwavering commitment that BVS has maintained since the beginning of this distribution project together with its distributors with Panasonic: "The model of joint work, transparency, support, trust and above all long-term relationships with both Panasonic and the distributors in the country is an absolutely indispensable commitment for me and my company"–concluding"–"Always with the priority of continuing to grow together bringing Panasonic's best-in-class technology solutions to the entire AV market."

The AK-UC4000, the protagonist of the event

Additional features are added to enhance the recording experience, including improved skip-free gain (-6 to 36 dB), a user gamma function, black gamma correction based on pedestal setting, multi-step digital noise reduction, and easy matrix adjustment.
