Colombia. MinTic received some concerns from citizens and the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic that led to making some adjustments to Resolution 3947 of 2023 to make it even easier to understand.
The entity clarified that these modifications do not impact the competitive conditions that have been defined and with which this Ministry intends to encourage the entry of 5G technology in the country and continue closing the digital divide.
"This auction process is the result of an open and transparent process in which it is opportune to apply everything that can do better and that tends to the effective enjoyment by Colombians of connectivity and 5G technology," explained the ICT Minister, Mauricio Lizcano.
This assignment of spectrum use permits will be made on December 20 and is expected to bring with it the massification of 5G technology in the country and to continue with the execution of the Government's Connectivity Plan.
