The AK-UC4000 studio camera is another Panasonic innovation in streaming technology, which its users can operate the camera in both 4K and HD modes.
In HD mode, the AK-UC4000 produces HD images with high sensitivity and low noise. In addition to the well-known features in previous studio camera series, such as DRS and CineGamma, the AK-UC4000 incorporates new features such as focus assist, flash band compensation and distortion reduction, which is achieved by performing high-speed scans from the MOS sensor. Additional features are added to enhance the recording experience, including improved skip-free gain (-6 to 36 dB), a user gamma function, black gamma correction based on pedestal setting, multi-step digital noise reduction, and easy matrix adjustment. The AK-UC4000 series offers excellent image quality and performance.
Combined with the AK-UCU600 camera control unit, the UC4000 delivers uncompressed 4K images and long-distance transmission. The AK-HRP1000 and HRP1005 remote control panels feature a color LCD display for improved screen visibility and easy control. The camera and camera control unit can be connected to make long-distance video signal transmissions of approximately 2000 meters when power is supplied from the control unit. The remote control panel and camera can be connected with a dedicated cable.
The AK-HVF100 230mm color LCD monitor features a large screen and a variety of features. Focus assist features include Focus Bar (indicates the level of focus), Red Focus (uses color to indicate the areas in focus), Expand (magnifies the center part), and Frame (shows the overall state of the screen's focus).
