Latin America. IntekTV announced the return of its YouTube talk series, "Coloristas Hispanos," which is now in its second season. In the next episode, she will feature renowned colorist Lily Suarez as a guest.
With this initiative, IntekTV aims to inspire and motivate all those who venture into the magical world of color grading in Spanish. "Coloristas Hispanos" is a window into the community of Spanish-speaking colorists, a space where stories, experiences and techniques of experts in the art of color are explored.
Diego Yhamá, Master Trainer of DaVinci Resolve, is the charismatic host of the series. "As a color artist passionate about his work and our Hispanic roots, Diego is the perfect choice to present this series that pays tribute to our colorists and is designed especially for them," said Mabel Mompó, COO of IntekTV.
The second season of "Coloristas Hispanos" has received an overwhelming response from the Spanish-language post-production community, and each episode is a unique opportunity to learn, connect and celebrate excellence in color grading. Throughout the episodes, they have had renowned guests, who have shared their experiences and knowledge in the exciting world of color:
Episode #1 - Laura Larrosa: In the inaugural episode, Laura Larrosa, a prominent Argentine colorist with 15 years of experience, was received. The conversation revolved around her impressive work in colorizing the iconic "Santa Evita" series.
Episode #2 - Elena Humanes and Luis Ochoa: In the second episode, we had the pleasure of having Elena Humanes and Luis Ochoa as guests, who shared details of their colorization project for Netflix, "The Longest Night".
Episode #3 - Alex Del Pilar: In the third episode, prominent Mexican colorist Alex Del Pilar talked about his impressive career, which includes work in films such as "Duck Season" and "The Violin."
Episode #4 - Luisa Cavanagh and Javier Guevara: Luisa Cavanagh, with more than 15 years of experience and award-winning works in her history as "Argentina 1985", together with Javier Guevara, cinematographer and colorist with recognition in international festivals, shared their knowledge and achievements in the world of color grading.
Episode #5 - Ernie Schaeffer (POST NAB Special): Ernie Schaeffer, Official DaVinci Resolve Demonstrator for Blackmagic Design at NAB 2023, provided exclusive insight into what's new in DaVinci Resolve 18.5 in a special episode full of exciting details.
Episode #6 - Felipe Martinez: Felipe Martinez, founder of WeMakeColor, shared his extensive experience in flow design and remote grading on a variety of international projects, from commercials to independent feature films, including his most recent work "Los Iniciados" for Prime Video.
The next episode will explore documentary colorization with special guest Lily Suarez, who will share her experience in post-production on the Netflix documentary "Be Eternal: Champions of America."
