Brazil. Brainstorm will participate in SET Brazil, which will be held in Sao Paulo from August 8 to 10, in collaboration with LineUp, its official distributor in Brazil. The company will set up a small virtual production studio that will demonstrate its most advanced technologies at this reference fair for the Latin American industry.
Suite 5.2, the latest software version from InfinitySet, Aston and Edison PRO, unveiled at NAB in Las Vegas, includes a plethora of new features designed to enhance XR content creation and workflows. These improvements streamline the ability of users to improve the creation of virtual content, regardless of whether they use LED video walls or chroma sets to produce such content.
InfinitySet adds many new features that make it easier and faster to create immersive XR content, specifically designed to be displayed on large LED video walls, increasingly common in live productions. With these tools, Brainstorm customers will see significantly accelerated the creation of XR content, generating AR in context in LED videowalls, creating set extensions or even complete scenes for the production of movies and series.
InfinitySet now includes a dedicated interface to generate XR installations, which allows you to model any type of videowall, including flat screens, corner, floors, curves or virtually any shape, and maps the 3D content in that model. In addition, by taking advantage of InfinitySet's Layers and Stacking features, multiple renders can be mapped even with different resolutions and aspect ratios, on screens of any size and appearance. Fully compatible with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) Vanilla, InfinitySet now includes full integration of objects created in InfinitySet or Aston within the UE environment and vice versa, including shadows, reflections and AR with Unreal Engine, providing unmatched flexibility for content creation.
Motion graphics are essential in any TV workflow, and Brainstorm will also show how Aston provides designers with the most advanced tools for data-generated in-context AR graphics that can be displayed in immersive virtual environments, including UE scenes, and seamlessly interact with the scene and presenters. Aston will also show how multi-channel graphics can be part of any broadcast easily and transparently, highlighting information and making it more attractive to audiences.
In addition, Brainstorm will introduce the Edison Ecosystem in Latin America. Built around Edison PRO, it is a complete solution that transforms any live or online presentation into an immersive experience through the use of AR and virtual environments. The Edison ecosystem consists of custom capture environments such as EdisonGO, a physical studio such as Edison eDesk, and includes control devices (Stream Deck) or free applications such as Edison OnDemand, so that any user can take advantage of the powerful tools of Edison PRO. This ecosystem of tools enhances the narrative with easily created real-time 3D graphics, and other visual aids, immersing the presenter in a photorealistic virtual environment, while executing the presentation with clickers or other remote devices.
"Coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of the founding of Brainstorm, we are looking forward to once again showing the advances of our technology and meeting customers and visitors in such an essential place for the broadcast and audiovisual market in Latin America as SET", says Frank Lima, Sales Manager in LatAm. "Brainstorm has recently expanded its team in the region and achieved record business figures, so we are delighted to continue supporting Line-up and show our improved range of products to the Brazilian market," adds Borja Chirivella, Sales Director in LatAm, Europe and China.
