Brazil. Veset is allowing CNN Brazil to distribute its news-based Brazilian channel to Samsung TV Plus, using Veset Nimbus. Previously, CNN Brazil was mainly distributed through cable television and its YouTube channel. This is the first step in bringing the channel to connected TVs.
Delivered to CNN Brazil through Veset's Latin American partner, CIS Group, Veset Nimbus is an enterprise-grade cloud playback solution for the creation and advanced management of linear TV channels. Using Veset Nimbus, CNN Brasil can make improvised changes to programming as required by live news events.
With SCTE-35 support, Veset Nimbus' ad insertion capabilities allow CNN Brasil to insert ads later in the delivery chain. In addition, its scheduling functionality allows the CNN Brazil team to use its existing traffic system to plan programming.

CIS Group and Veset have enabled us to seamlessly deliver our news content on Samsung TV Plus, while paving the way to extend it to other platforms in the future. Veset Nimbus also features a range of all-in-one channel creation tools including live streaming and file ingestion, EPG, content management, live multi-switching, complex graphics insertion, playback and encoding. It includes an ABR HLS ladder configuration for seamless delivery to various types of devices, no matter the speed of the internet connection.

Based on AWS, Veset Nimbus allows CNN Brazil to plan for future expansion, both globally and to other platforms.
