Colombia. The Ministerio TIC opened the audiovisual call with a differential approach 'Stories in Rural Series', aimed at people located in rural areas of our country, with the aim of telling in an innovative way the stories of deep Colombia.
"The audiovisual call 'Stories in Rural Series' has a fundamental component for the Government of Change: it is focused on the rural areas of our Colombia and its inhabitants. The total amount allocated for this call is $ 210,000,000 with which the production of 10 miniseries will be financed, so each one will have a resource of $ 21,000,000, "said the ICT minister, Mauricio Lizcano.
'Relatos en Serie Rural' is aimed at creators of digital audiovisual content who were born or live in rural Colombia and who have a village registration, as this document is an enabling requirement to participate. Likewise, that they produce and distribute original and own content through digital channels, and that the audiovisual medium is their main tool of expression. Those who decide to participate must submit a creative proposal for a digital audiovisual miniseries with a free theme and genre, suitable for all audiences.
With this call, the MinTIC wants to capture the beauty of the Colombian countryside, of our customs, and open the door to new ways of narrating our reality in the digital world.
