Mexico. The Federal Institute of Telecommunications, IFT, published the Public Call to participate in the procedure to obtain the Accreditation of Expert in Telecommunications and / or Broadcasting, or where appropriate, the corresponding revalidation.
The IFT is the authority empowered by the Federal Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law (LFTR) to accredit experts in telecommunications and broadcasting, so this autonomous regulatory body invites interested citizens, with profiles of engineers in communications or related careers and experts already accredited to carry out the corresponding revalidation to participate in this Call.
Through this procedure, the IFT recognizes the technical competence of professionals qualified as Accredited Expert in telecommunications and broadcasting, who support equipment manufacturers in homologation procedures, as well as members of both sectors to comply with various obligations established in the Technical and Administrative Provisions issued by this Institute.
The IFT has the National Registry of Accredited Experts in Telecommunications and Broadcasting, in which persons who meet the requirements and accreditation procedure are registered.
This year, the Institute implemented a platform in which applications for the accreditation of experts or, where appropriate, the corresponding revalidation will be registered, so, as it is a new computer system, the Institute will offer prior training on its use.
This session will take place on Thursday, March 23 at 10:00 am, in two modalities:
Face-to-face: in the Auditorium floor 1 of the Facilities of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications located at Insurgentes Sur 1143, Col. Noche Buena, C.P. 03720, Benito Juárez, CDMX.
Virtual: with prior registration so that the access link to the registered email is sent to them.
Those interested are asked to confirm their attendance in person or virtually, in the following https://es.surveymonkey.com/r/WJ23TMD link, which will be enabled until one day before the event.
In this way, the IFT fulfills its constitutional mandate to promote the efficient development of telecommunications and broadcasting, and positions itself as an allied, innovative and avant-garde body, for the benefit of the population it serves.
