sony ptz

Latin America. Sony expanded its lineup of pan, tilt and zoom cameras with the addition of two 4K models with integrated AI analytics, where the new PTZ cameras: SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 automatically and constantly track presenters and frame them naturally, regardless of movement or posture, to create and control content seamlessly. all without operating a computer.

These two new cameras are models are capable of working at 4K resolutions and also have integrated analysis based on artificial intelligence (AI) to obtain more accurate results.

The new PTZ Auto Framing technology features automatic operation for quick object tracking and rediscovery, as well as multiple Auto Framing options. Camera highlights include image quality with automation, IP flexibility, powerful zoom, remote control and easy setup and operation. They are ideal for use in educational, corporate, medical, government, broadcasting and religious applications, as well as for live events.

Claudius Bezerra, Product Marketing Manager at Sony PSLA, Product Marketing Manager for these products, commented: "The new SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 models are an excellent solution for customers looking for quality and practicality in their remote productions. Both models with "PTZ Auto Framing" technology based on artificial intelligence analytics are perfect for the segment of Education, Regional Production Studios, Live Events, Churches and government entities. Definitely, the function "PTZ Auto Framing" is the great differential of these new models. A level of accuracy and fit very difficult to replicate in competing models."

Giving his analysis of the arrival of these products, Bezerra is very positive stating: "We have great expectations of the market and the use of these models in the different applications of our customers. Since its official launch during the ISE in Barcelona, customers who had the opportunity to attend product demonstrations have been delighted with the level of quality and precision of the camera. In fact, for Latin America we are going to start a series of activities, from Webinars and Roadshows so that our customers also have the opportunity to know all the benefits of these models. We invite everyone to be attentive to our social networks for the communication of dates and countries where we will carry out these activities"

The first of this series of events that Sony will hold to present these new PTZ cameras, will be the Webinar scheduled for March 2, which will feature a demonstration of these two models SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 in a Live Demo by Gonzalo Gamio, Product Marketing Manager of Sony PSLA.

Speaking precisely with him, Gonzalo Gamio of Sony PSLA tells us the most outstanding features of each camera, saying: "Both the SRG-A40 and A12 have practically the same base of functions / features and of course both have our new PTZ Auto Framing technology, which comes to revolutionize the way we are used to perceiving tracking technology in PTZ cameras, this through our exclusive PTZ Auto Framing real-time analytics technology. This proprietary technology allows us to detect and fix the subject through facial recognition, head detection and framing in different plane sizes, including close-ups and with adjustment variables such as height and the side I want to give more air to (left, right or centered), this to be able to reproduce a much more "human" PTZ movement and achieving a unique fluidity and precision never before seen in the market. "

From Merlin Distributor, company that distributes these cameras for the region, the CEO of the company Edson Marion says: "This new generation of Sony PTZ cameras arrive with a high image quality characteristic of all the lines of the brand, but now having a dose of intelligence based on the incorporation of AI analysis with which they have, thus having an automatic PTZ framing." – Adding Valdiney Marcelino, commercial director of Merlin Distributor about his feedback with reference to the Latin American market – "There have been many inquiries and expectations of the arrival of these cameras, with which the availability for our customers will be immediate, as is characteristic of our company, along with all our support and logistics."
