Caracol TV y Secuoya Studios acordaron realizar proyectos

Latin America. Secuoya Studios, a Spanish content production studio, and Caracol TV, a Colombian media and entertainment company, agreed to carry out the planning, financing and production of series of the fiction format.

This co-authorship alliance, which was announced within the framework of the second edition of Iberseries Platino Industria, seeks that both companies join forces for the development of "premium series in Spanish".

James Costos

James Costos, President of Secuoya Studios, said: "We are very pleased to be able to announce this alliance with one of the most outstanding partners in Colombia and the Latin American audiovisual industry. For Secuoya Studios it is essential to generate synergies with the most consolidated companies in Latin America and the United States, and Caracol Televisión is a powerful partner positioned in the international market thanks to the success of its countless projects.

To conclude, James said that as a company they fully trust "that this framework agreement will generate a very positive impact on the Spanish and Latin American audiovisual industry and will be the first of a long collaborative relationship."

In addition to this, Lisette Osorio, Vice President of International Business of Caracol Television, explained: "our agreement with Secuoya Studios, a solid ally and with a great creative spectrum, strengthens our steps in the Spanish market and fills us with enthusiasm in the face of the great projects that we envision for next year."

Shee also indicated that Caracol Televisión is committed to the development of new ways of telling stories, which can generate relevant conversations in different territories. "We know that, hand in hand with Secuoya, we will surprise the international market with projects that fulfill this mission and captivate audiences around the world."

Finally, both companies will co-own, with 50% each, the intellectual property of the audiovisual works produced, but will have and enjoy the distribution rights in their respective territories, while the profits and international disclosure will be negotiated for mutual benefit and jointly.
