Brazil. Sony Brazil will present at SET Expo 2022 its solutions for studio production, journalism, film and photography, cloud-based solutions, IP cameras and compact cameras, as well as wireless solutions, solutions for live production in HD, 4K and HDR, and reference monitors.

Robotic cameras
For remote operations, Sony will showcase robotic cameras including the PTZ camera range, with the BRC-X400 as a standout model delivering high-quality images with a 1/2.5" Exmor R 4K CMOS sensor, high sensitivity and differential zoom capability of up to 80x in HD or 30x in 4K, and support for NDI® transmission| HX through an optional license. The SRG-X40UH camera, winner of infocomm 2022's Best of Show award, will also be available for testing. It is a compact camera designed for the B2B market, which provides high quality images, ease of use and installation, Exmor R™ CMOS sensor of 1/2.5 (which allows to obtain 4K images with very-low noise level in low light conditions), 30X zoom in 4K (40x in HD) and the flexibility necessary to use it in a wide variety of situations.
Studio cameras
The HDC-3500 is a camera that uses three 2/3" global shutter 4K sensors and supports the same B4-mount lenses, accessories and equipment required to control Sony's HDC-2000 series main cameras. This allows the user flexibility to make configurations with lens change and the possibility to naturally switch from HD to 4K and from SDR to HDR, and vice versa. This camera could work in HD and evolve naturally through a 4K software license, just as it could do from SDR to HDR, with the ability to support twice the speed in Full HD preserving the investment made to have the current operations in HD and facilitate future migration according to the new demands that arise.
Camcorders and wireless and cloud solutions
Sony's well-known XDCAM wireless solution will be available to demonstrate its high quality for low-cost live productions. These workflows are based on efficient files that support the requirements of news production using camcorders that can stream video and audio from remote locations over 4G/LTE and Wi-Fi networks.
Cinema Line Cameras
Attendees at set EXPO 2022 will come into contact with a Sony model that incorporates the highest technology for image capture: the PXW-FX9 camera. Its full-frame 6K Exmor R sensor in combination with the electronic ND filter and the double base ISO value offer an improvement in the quality of color reproduction in different lighting conditions, as well as noise reduction.
Anyone who expands their creative skills can find in the ILME-FX6 (winner of the Red Dot 2021 and iF Design 2021 awards) a dynamic camera with full-frame 4K sensor and the ability to record at 120 fps, which inherits a series of functions from the Alpha line, such as the Eye AF function in real time.
The VENICE 2 film camera, created by film directors and designed for film directors, and winner of the Product of the Year award at the NAB 2022 fair, includes a full-frame 5K sensor and will be available to test during the event.
Broadcast monitors
In terms of monitoring, the PVM line stands out from the rest. The release of the HDR-SDR PVM-HSX1 conversion license (with an active license) helps the monitor perform 4K to HD reverse conversion, OETF conversion, progressive format to interlaced conversion, and quad-link 3G conversion to 12G single link.
BraviaPro
Right after entering the booth, you will see two professional BraviaPro monitors. The FW-43BZ35SF, a 43" 4K HDR monitor with 505 cd/m² and enhanced dynamic contrast, will showcase different Sony products and solutions. The star of the line is the 100" 4K HDR monitor FW-100BZ40J, with 940cd/m², which will attract the attention of the public for its magnificent video quality and color contrast.
IP infrastructure for live productions
Solutions for live production with IP infrastructure will be shown, using the SMPTE ST2110 standard in the NXL-FR316 and NXLK-IP50Y converters, as well as the HDC system cameras and the XVS-6000, XVS-7000, XVS-8000 and XVS-9000 production switcher line, the Live System Manager over IP management systems and the Live Elements Orchestrator IP orchestrator and infrastructure manager.
SET Expo 2022 will be held from August 22 to 25 at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.
