In April 2022, Haivision closed the acquisition of Aviwest. The acquisition expanded Haivision's portfolio of video contribution solutions to include 5G streaming, mobile video contribution and network linking technology.
The introduction of SRT support for the Aviwest PRO, AIR and RACK series now enables interoperability with Haivision's full portfolio of products and other SRT-enabled solutions. This allows Aviwest devices to be used in conjunction with other Haivision streaming technologies in a wide variety of streaming production scenarios, including multi-camera remote production, cloud contribution and distribution, and decentralized collaborative workflows.
