Latin America. During NAB Show 2022, the Brazilian company Merlin Distributor received two important recognitions from the brands it represents for the region.
The first of these was Sony, who gave him an award for "His excellent sales and distribution activity during fiscal year 2021 for the growth of the Procam market".
During the event, Merlin Distributor together with Sony, held different meetings with its distributors and business partners in Latin America, analyzing the great results achieved during the fiscal year that is ending, presenting the novelties they bring to the professional audio and video industry, and planning the sales and marketing plans for this new stage that begins in 2022.
Edson Marion, CEO of Merlin Distributor said: "We thank the Sony team very much for their support throughout 2021, which has enabled us to meet our common goals, as well as thank the tireless work of all our Latino resellers for their professionalism and performance, as of course my recognition to the Merlin Distributor team for a further achievement obtained by our company."
The second recognition was from Panasonic, which awarded Merlin the "Record Sales 2021" award, for its 34% increase in sales during 2021.
The award ceremony made during the Dealer meeting for Latin America in an event held days before the NAB Show at the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, was preceded by Mr. Rodrigo Costa, Commercial Manager of B2B Panasonic for Latin America and by Edson Marion, CEO of Merlin Distributor, where in addition to being the event where Panasonic presented all its news, news, new products, business opportunities, commercial strategies and trends for the new fiscal year that has just begun, was the place to provide the recognitions to the different strategic partners in each country of Latin America, and also the designation of new official distributors of Panasonic by Merlin Distributor, granting each company a plaque with the appointment as authorized distributor of Panasonic.
