NAB. 2022 has seen a significant increase in EVS business in Latin America. That's why they have high expectations for NAB. TVyVideo+Radio spoke with Alfredo Cabrera, Vice President of Sales for Latin America who highlighted that EVS has become one of the main companies of Broadcast with the addition of Media Infrastructure.
"Our virtualized and cloud platforms complete our portfolio not only in replay and live events, but also in solutions for small broadcasters who need cost-effective solutions in their operations. But there is more, EVS will grow globally through acquisitions and technology. A lot of surprises are coming in the next 12 months."
Part of the success in the Latin market is due to XTGo. This server was created for the Latin American market with the intention of entering the Tier 3, Tier 2 market and in some applications of the Tier 1 market. "The robustness and accessibility in its price has been the difference for this market in 2021 more than 20 XTGo servers were sold in the region with the limitations that we could not make any face-to-face demo due to Covid," said Alfredo Cabrera.
In addition, in Las Vegas, EVS will present several solutions, among which are: Media Hub, the company's first SAS cloud service that brings together several products that the customer can hire without additional hardware; Media Ception, continues with the evolution of Production Asset Management having concretized important sales in the USA and Europe with the main exponents of the Industry; and STRADA, his entrance to the world of Routers. They currently offer SDI, IP and Hybrid routers that offer the best conditions and customer value.
