Latin America. On the first anniversary of its birth, AEQ presented new ways of using this Ultracompact IP Audiocodec, such as: enriching the live from home with external audio, adding interviews and broadcasting events.
TALENT is a stereo, desktop, small audiocodec that allows you to participate in a program, from home or anywhere else. On its front there are level controls of the microphone and headphones, level indicators, call/pick up buttons, hang up, and HELP, button to get the attention of the station operator.
However, it does not need to be operated by the user, since the controls are also in two applications:
• A local smartphone, TALENT PILOT, which configures it, establishes the connection, and controls it, if the person at the controls has knowledge for it.
• Another remote, PhoenixControl, which allows you to configure and operate remotely, a fleet of TALENT audiocodecs and other AEQs, so that the user only speaks and does not need to touch any button.
So TALENT can be configured and controlled locally or remotely or delivered to the user ready for use.
TALENT supports low or high impedance headphones and dynamic and condenser microphones. It is powered by the USB output of a PC, or from a DC source between 5 and 12 volts, in addition, it includes a power supply for the AC network. It has auxiliary line input and output and another bluetooth for stereo audio and remote control.
To send the audio to the station, you can use a home Internet connection, or a 3G/4G/5G wireless data connection via a simple router/modem with SIM card. In addition, if there is no IP connection, through the Bluetooth channel and a smartphone, you can reach the STUDIO PC to enter the audio into the program.

After a year on the market, users have driven new uses of the equipment:
Sending voice plus external audio: Make the program live from home and enrich it with other audio sources.
Using Bluetooth connection and/or line input, you can
connect TALENT to a mobile phone or PC and mix audio from:
• Files or streaming music.
• Voice memos.
• Pre-recorded and edited audio cuts.
The audio from the microphone is mixed with that received from the phone or external audio device and sent compressed by IP to the studio console with great quality.
Local audio (Program) can also be sent to the phone, PC, or audio device for recording, even mixed with the return of the studio.
Live interview. Phone call and remotely interview a third person while sending the program to the studio
Thanks to the Bluetooth connection, you can connect TALENT to a mobile phone, and do live interviews by:
• GSM telephony.
• Through applications such as Skype, WhatsApp, Zoom and others, which give a higher quality to the voice of the interviewee.
The interviewee's voice is mixed with the TALENT microphone and sent compressed by IP to the studio console with great quality.
TALENT's microphone, in turn, is sent to the phone to keep the conversation easily going, although the interviewee can also be given back from the studio.
Commentator. Broadcast a live event and incorporate ambient sound
Using the Bluetooth connection or an auxiliary input, you can send the event commentary from the microphone, and mix it with the EVENT's PA sound jack. Relying on Apps, you can even use your phone as an external microphone for an interview or binaural to capture ambient sound.
These additional forms of use confirm the flexibility and great capacity of use in different circumstances, which will allow to get a great performance, exceeding its definition as equipment for personal use, and allowing other types of more complex work outdoors.
