Latin America. TVU Networks announced the availability and real-world testing of a new cloud-based live streaming package for remote production. TVU's cloud production service offers a pay-as-you-go model, which minimizes a company's capital expenditures while realizing live production capabilities within its daily operating expenses.
The service was recently tested for coverage of a large-scale wedding in Manila to reach guests who were unable to travel to the event due to COVID-19 restrictions.
With TVU Cloud Production Service, customers can set up a live streaming business for events such as weddings, webinars, and corporate presentations. The system is easy to use and does not require much hardware or software. Because it is completely cloud-based, production can be done remotely.
Without sending equipment to a location, productions are broadcast in HD quality and produced with an affordable system from TVU Networks. TVU Cloud Production Service works with the TVU Producer cloud-based live production platform, TVU Partyline for streaming-quality collaboration and conferencing, the TVU Anywhere app, and the TVU Nano for Video IP video transmitter.

TVU Producer provides live multi-camera video production in the cloud without latency. Live stream to TVU Producer from any camera using TVU's range of live video transmitters, receive live streams from TVU Grid and TVU RPS, or use the TVU Anywhere app to receive live video from mobile devices. Other features include distinctive transitions, graphics overlays, advanced audio mixing, subtitles, interaction with the live audience.
With the TVU Anywhere mobile streaming app, customers can use their smart device to stream live video in Full HD from anywhere using cellular link technology and HEVC encoding. Content captured with TVU Anywhere can be sent directly to the cloud for production and distribution. It now has built-in support for Center Stage, a new iPad Pro feature (M1 chip models) that automates subject tracking.
Center Stage integration frees the reporter or presenter using TVU Anywhere from the limitations of maintaining a fixed position, using AI to automatically recognize the subject and track it as it moves. It also features dual-camera support for simultaneous streaming from the front and rear cameras in a picture-in-picture or split-screen option.
TVU Partyline allows all members in a remote production environment to communicate seamlessly as if they were all in the same physical space. Production teams, talent and guests can use production tools and collaborate remotely in real time with Full HD video quality, perfectly synchronized audio and video and mix minus an audio feedback. Collaboration within Partyline is possible through the use of a real-time interactive layer (RTIL). With a simple shared URL, participants can join Partyline to watch all live streams of the show and interact, discuss, monitor and participate in a real-time production with undetectable latency.
TVU Nano for Video is a lightweight, portable transmitter that leaves a small footprint while encoding high-definition video with virtually zero delays. Like other TVU transmitters, TVU Nano works with TVU Networks' proprietary algorithm, Inverse Statmux Plus, to provide a high-bandwidth IP connection by adding multiple connection links, including cellular, Ethernet, and WiFi to ensure bandwidth for stable transmission. Weighing half a kilogram or just over a pound, it can be easily mounted on professional cameras.
