Running in sync with BATON's fast manual review of accurate file framing, BMP is a high-performance media player with a variety of features that allow professionals to play, monitor and verify audiovisual components from anywhere, as well as offer the ability to collaborate with different teams and projects. In addition, BMP provides the opportunity for end users to implement a real hybrid quality control environment, which would make the content preparation process more efficient in the various steps of work dynamics, from ingestion to distribution, while at the same time ensuring that content is viewed and reproduced exactly as intended.
Thanks to Blackmagic Design's line of DeckLink capture and playback PCIe cards, Interra Systems can offer its customers high quality in the control and monitoring of images, as they support resolution up to 8K. In this way, users have the possibility to monitor the content using DeckLink cards in order to play any format and resolution compatible, which allows them to monitor macroblocks, frozen or black frames and other types of problems.
Interra Systems uses a variety of DeckLink drives, including DeckLink Studio, DeckLink SDI 4K, and DeckLink 8K Pro, along with a DeckLink Media Express player. The newest cards are the DeckLink 8K Pro model, an advanced third-generation version with eight PCI Express lanes for 8K work dynamics that include 12G SDI connections and offer compatibility with all SD, HD, UHD, DCI 4K, 8K and DCI 8K formats.
In addition, Interra Systems uses several DeckLink 8K Pro cards and a Blackmagic Video Assist 7" 12G HDR device both in its research and development facilities and in the work dynamics of its customers. The signal from the DeckLink 8K Pro unit is transmitted directly to the Blackmagic Video Assist 7" 12G HDR monitor and recorder, which features an adjustable 2500 nit display and a high resolution of 1920 x 1200 compatible with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
