Latin America. Stephan Schenk, as General Manager of Global Sales & Solutions, has assumed responsibility for the worldwide sales and service of Arri hardware products as well as the company's solutions business area.
This newly created position aims to combine and align sales and service activities across all ARRI product groups and expand the business area of the systems across all markets.
Stephan Schenk reports directly to Markus Zeiler, member of the Executive Board. He is responsible for all service and sales departments of the camera and lighting systems business units, including the ARRI System Group in Berlin. In turn, regional managers from the Americas, China, Asia Pacific and EMEAl (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) will report to Stephan Schenk.
Stephan Schenk joined ARRI on August 1, 2009 as Director of the ARRI Chamber Systems Business Unit. He was appointed Managing Director of Arnold & Richter Cine Technik in July 2014. "From day one, Stephan Schenk has guided the commercial activities of the ALEXA camera platform to its great success and has developed the commercial area of Camera Systems for more than ten years. The cornerstone has been the system concept he initiated for camera, lenses, components and interfaces," emphasizes Markus Zeiler, adding: "On behalf of ARRI I want to sincerely thank Stephan Schenk for his remarkable achievements and services to the company in recent years. We wish him every success in this new area of performance."
Stephan Schenk looks forward to these new challenges: "We have a broad portfolio of camera and light systems and strive to combine our products and services in the best possible way for the benefit of our customers. Likewise, we seek to develop solutions for our customers that also take into consideration products from other manufacturers and partners. New challenges, such as virtual productions or IP-based workflows can be addressed in cross-product work teams. These solutions are as multifaceted as our customers' creative ideas."
