Colombia. The CRC presents for the first time a proposal for a convergent Regulatory Agenda that responds to the nature of the Commission as a single regulator for the development of synergies from a different approach including two new strategic axes: that of information pluralism and that of data exploitation.
The main initiatives, projects and activities, included in the proposed agenda, which will be carried out in order to fulfill the regulatory functions of the Entity, were defined through a review of international trends and the sectoral roadmaps of the Entity, the detailed analysis of the needs of the sectors and the obligations of law.
"For the CRC it is an achievement to present to the country our proposal for a Regulatory Agenda 2021-2022, the first convergent work plan that articulates the regulatory needs of the ICT, Audiovisual Content and Postal sectors. We invite citizens, industry, unions, government entities and other relevant actors to participate in the joint construction of the final version of this Agenda that will establish the challenges of the CRC for next year" concluded Carlos Lugo Silva, Commissioner and Executive Director of the CRC.
