International. Consoles, audiocodecs and automation systems are the AEQ solutions that have recently installed stations associated with cadena Ser.
Radio Aracena and Radio Motril have incorporated AEQ CAPITOL digital consoles into their studios. The sound quality and operability fully adapted to local stations that work in a chain, allowing the same console to work simultaneously with several programs while preparing local disconnections, have made it an alternative of choice for many stations that have multiple programs and need to optimize resources.
Radio Guadix is a very special case. The director of the station, Rodrigo Poyatos, is an innovator, who for personal reasons began to broadcast remotely from his home, about 100 km away from the station, many years ago.
Mr. Poyatos, has an AEQ FORUM console in the studios, which he controls from home through the remote management of the station thanks to the VIRTUAL FORUM application. Switch from local to network programming, raise and lower faders, record and mount advertising spots from home.
In the studio there is a video camera and in addition to doors and atopic lighting. When Rodrigo has to do an interview, from home he opens the door of the station and the studio, turns on the light and, speaking through an AEQ PHOENIX MERCURY audiocodec in his house, connected by IP to another AEQ PHOENIX STUDIO audiocodec that accesses an input and an auxiliary output of the console, through the studio monitor, he guides the interviewee to his chair, invites him to put on his helmets, test levels, and interview! At the end, beg the interviewee to make sure he has closed the door.
Radio Rioja is located in Logroño, capital of the Rioja region in northern Spain. It has two branches in other Rioja cities. It has updated its automation system, migrating from the French Dalet, to the AudioPlus system of AEQ, valuing the quality of the product and the service that is given from Spain.
It also incorporates a remote broadcast module compatible with Cadena SER commands, and an exchange module with external management applications, both advertising traffic and music programming.
It also has a file import module, which adapts to the format of the database of the different manufacturers. Specifically, the Dalet format had already been used and debugged in previous migrations, and worked perfectly, transferring the sound files in a few hours, while transforming the identifying data of each file to the AEQ format.
