Latin America. The company Blackmagic Design presented two new versions of its Atem system, as well as updates to several of its systems: DaVinci Resolve to its version 16.2.5, ATEM Switchers 8.4, and the Pocket Cinema Camera.
ATEM Streaming Bridge:
The ATEM Streaming Bridge model is a converter that allows you to receive images in H.264 format from ATEM Mini Pro mixers and obtain SDI or HDMI signals to transmit them to different points through an Ethernet network or anywhere in the world through the Internet.
The quality of the signals processed by the ATEM Mini Pro model is superior to that of the programs used to carry out teleconferences, so a clean and sharper signal is obtained, without any logo of the manufacturer of the software used to transmit over the Internet.
ATEM Mini Pro ISO:
The ATEM Mini Pro ISO model allows you to record up to five individual signals in H.264 format, i.e. the program and all connected sources.
This allows you to obtain clean signals and then process the different planes in multi-camera editing programs.
The device also provides the ability to generate files with audio, graphics and other elements of the production, as well as create a project in DaVinci Resolve so you can edit it quickly.
For its part, the DaVinci Resolve synchronization tray provides the opportunity to select new planes through the viewer, so it is very easy to use. It is even possible to relink the camera's Blackmagic RAW files to perform professional color grading and finish the project in UHD definition.
Updates:
DaVinci Resolve 16.2.5 - This update allows you to import projects from the ATEM Mini Pro ISO mixer into DaVinci Resolve, optimizes the list of numbered still images in the media panel, fixes errors in reference frames of some H.264 clips on Windows computers, and improves the relinking of AAF clips in different folders.
ATEM Switchers 8.4 - This update provides support for the ATEM Mini Pro ISO model. It also allows you to define the bitrate for audio in XML files and includes general performance and stability improvements for all ATEM mixers.
Blackmagic Camera 6.9.5 - This update for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera model provides metadata support for ATEM Mini Pro ISO mixers and allows you to control the diaphragm manually on some Panasonic Leica lenses when used with the camera.
