Chile. The Undersecretariat of Telecommunications, Subtel, has arranged from the national and global contingency for Covid-19 the following measures for those who wish to renew their amateur radio licenses:
1.- According to the Regulations of Radiocommunication Enthusiasts, the licenses corresponding to the categories: Aspirant, Novice, General, Superior, which are close to expiring and whose holders have entered their renewal application at least 90 days before its expiration are understood as Valid, which must be submitted with the respective Application Form for renewal entered by subtel's Office of Parties.
2.- If your license is expired, you must be within a period of 12 months, counted from the expiration date of the license, to request renewal without taking the exam.
3.- The license will remain in force until the renewal application is definitively resolved.
4.- To request the process of renewing the license, enter the complete Application Form and photocopy of the RUT in the subtel virtual Parts Office in https://tramites.subtel.gob.cl/oficinadepartes-web/recepcionDocumento.html
5.- To request more information, it must be channeled through OIRS in the following form: http://webapps.subtel.cl/VentanillaUnica/FUCExterno
