Peru. The Ministry of Transport and Communications, MTC, recalls that the procedures related to broadcasting services and private services in telecommunications are suspended, and therefore will not be affected by the lack of compliance with obligations, during the State of National Emergency.
This measure covers the correction of formal and substantive requirements, presentation of renewals, among other obligations.
It also includes the deadlines provided for by the Regulations of the Radio and Television Law and the General Regulations of the Telecommunications Law for the fulfillment of declaration and payment of economic obligations.
Similarly, the payments of the fractionations whose installments are due during the period of the State of National Emergency.
The general director of Authorizations in Telecommunications, Mariella Carrasco, recalled that "No procedure of the administered will be harmed. This in order to guarantee the broadcasting services and communications that are presented between private entities during the duration of the emergency and compliance with the mandatory social isolation".
