Latin America. Dalet appointed Bea Alonso as global director of product marketing, who will be responsible for strategic oversight over a specialized team and relationships with technology partners.
Bea also collaborates with Dalet's product management, sales and corporate marketing groups to define and execute marketing plans across multiple industries and segments, creating unique value propositions for broadcasting companies, content owners and publishers, sports leagues and teams, as well as brands, corporate organizations, agencies and government institutions.

He has a technical mastery of digital content workflows, extensive experience creating key technology relationships, and great business acumen. Bea was instrumental in establishing the strong Ooyala Flex Media Platform brand and is poised to drive demand and use of our products, as well as increase the value of the Dalet brand in both traditional and new markets," said Stephane Schlayen, Chief Operating Officer, Dalet.

Prior to joining Dalet, Bea spent the past two decades with technology providers Avid and Grass Valley, joining Ooyala in 2016 to spearhead the media logistics business across the Asia Pacific region and eventually leading the company's product marketing team.
With a strong talent for communication, Bea has earned the respect of the video technology community, frequently presents at industry conferences, and participates in panels on the evolution of content supply chains, the business of content creation and distribution, and artificial intelligence applications in the media industry.
As a driver of digital transformation, Bea was instrumental in the evolution of news content distribution, playout, production, post-production and cross-platform workflows for multiple media companies and brands, including Fox Sports, VuClip, Discovery, Turner and the Australian National Rugby League. Deeply involved in the media community, Bea serves as an Advisory Board member for DPP and RISE – a support group for women in radio and television. Bea is also part of the organizing team of the Barcelona Video Tech community and is a member of the IABM board of directors.

Bea will be part of the panel "Transforming Content Production and Distribution with AI" on Wednesday, April 22 at 9:40 a.m. during the NAB 2020 Show, room N239 / N241. The panel session will investigate how highly programmatic activities in the media industry, such as obtaining, processing, and distributing information, make the application of cognitive sciences such as machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) particularly appropriate. Along with the other panelists, Bea will discuss how the industry needs to incorporate these technologies quickly and what impact they will have over the next year.
