Latin America. As part of its CES 2020 releases, Panasonic introduced three new camcorders with 4K 60p image quality, the smallest and lightest of their kind for professional use.
The HC-X1500, HC-X2000 and AG-CX10 have been designed to offer maximum comfort and portability for video makers, allow high-quality recording in 4K 60p and feature a 25mm LEICA Dicomar wide-angle lens and powerful 24x (HC-X1500 and HC-X2000) and 32x (AG-CX10) optical zoom, in a compact body (12.9 x 9.3 x 25.7 cm), lightweight (between 0.9kg and 1.2kg), very portable and easy to operate.
Due to their characteristics, they are ideal for independent video makers, documentary filmmakers, multimedia journalists, content producers, rental houses, among other professional users.
All three models offer high-precision Auto Focus (AF) function, with outstanding optical performance for recording in 4K Ultra HD and Full HD. The new equipment has multiple options for professional use, such as two manual adjustment rings, integrated LED lamp, 24-bit high-resolution linear PCM audio recording and battery that provides 4.5 hours of operation.
For video capture, all three cameras support internal 10-bit 4:2:2 recording and the new high-efficiency HEVC codec. They integrate the renowned Technology of the Panasonic Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S), which detects and corrects hand tremor on 5 different axes. They also provide the option of slow motion recording with Full HD quality at 120 frames per second (at 59.94 HZ) or 100 frames per second (at 50 Hz), while employing the AF function.
For comfortable operation, the new camcorders integrate a 3.5-inch LCD touch screen and 2,760,000 pixels, very bright and visible even in sunlight. Its viewfinder, with a resolution of 1,550,000 pixels, operates simultaneously to the screen, which is ideal for more experienced users.
All have dual SD memory card slots and continuous recording or background recording functions, according to the needs of the filmmaker and workflow.
In addition, they offer built-in Wi-Fi connectivity that supports HD Live Streaming to stream through services such as Facebook Live or YouTube Live.
