Colombia. The Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies, MinTIC, published the final resolution of the auction of permits for the use of spectrum in the bands of 700, 1,900 and 2,500 MHz that officially opens the auction event to be held on December 20 of this year.
It reveals the reserve price and establishes the requirements and conditions necessary for the PARTICIPATION of the ICT industry.
"This final resolution is the reflection of a project that provides sufficient guarantees to bring mobile Internet to the most remote and vulnerable areas of Colombia, and that will give the opportunities to the industry to participate and promote the closing of the digital divide," said THE ICT Minister, Sylvia Constaín.
Additionally, the official invited companies interested in participating in the spectrum auction in the three bands to send their documentation to the entity (Murillo Toro Building: Cra. 8 between streets 12a and 12b, floor 1), no later than 6:00 p.m. on December 2, 2019.
As part of this stage of the project, on November 27 the public hearing will be held at the facilities of the Ministry of ICT, in the main auditorium from 3:00 p.m. This space will have a live broadcast on the MinTIC website and on the "fanpage" on Facebook "Ministerio TIC Colombia".
