Mexico. VSN will attend one more year to the Ordinary General Assembly of the NETWORK of Broadcasting and Educational and Cultural Television of Mexico. In this event, VSN will present its flagship platform for media management and exchange, VSNExplorer, before the 74 broadcasting and television companies that make up this civil association that brings together all the radio companies and public television entities in Mexico.
Aware of the rapid and inevitable digital transformation that is changing the way broadcast and media companies work, the Mexico Network has convened the heads and professional experts of the audiovisual sector of Mexico and other countries, to participate in various thematic forums and presentations that began on August 16 and their conclusions are presented at the General Assembly on November 7, 2019.
In the case of VSN, Alfonso Vázquez, sales manager of the company for the LATAM region will be the one who on November 7 will be in charge of giving a presentation on VSNExplorer MAM in combination with the Media Exchange solution.
Alfonso was one of the promoters of VSN's collaboration with La Red when he was Teletec's Commercial Director and will be the one who will represent VSN as part of its sales team. "In VSN we are committed to the cultural, informative and educational mission of La Red México and its affiliates, so we are constantly looking for solutions that allow us to increase the exchange of content and projection of the members of La Red," says Alfonso Vázquez.
Through success stories of the solution, such as the project created for the Spanish public entity FORTA, Alfonso will explain how thanks to the Media Exchange solution, based on the VSNExplorer MAM system, this company can exchange content in the cloud between the public entities that it groups at the regional level, as well as promote the joint production of these and ultimately, to boost the Spanish audiovisual sector.
The success story of FORTA, a non-profit association that directly associates and manages 12 public broadcasting entities of the Autonomous Communities of Spain, has been chosen, since it has a great similarity with the Network of Educational and Cultural Radio and Television Broadcasters of Mexico, A.C.
This entity is a civil association that was constituted on November 1, 2005 and has 57 public radio and television systems -government, educational and cultural institutions, and civil society- and SATMEX, as affiliates and like FORTA, was created in the face of the need to promote articulation and common collaboration with all public service radio and television systems in the country.
