Fluotec Technology focuses on making talent stand out

Mexico. As the only Mexican and Latin American manufacturer of physical EQUIPMENT for TV, video and film technology, Fluotec continues to position itself as a leader in the professional lighting segment, said José María Noriega, CMO of the Mexican company.

"Fluotec is the only Mexican and Latin American manufacturing company internationally. We are designers and manufacturers of one of the most developed lighting lines in the video, film and TV industries. This year we are presenting two very surprising teams, such as the CineLight 480 SuperQUAD —which was presented in Los Angeles at Cine Gear—; and the CineLight QUAD, which was presented at NAB Show 2019 and which won the award for best luminaire. For the Mexican public we brought them the award-winning products."

The executive said during Expo Cine, TV y Video 2019, recently held in Mexico City: "The advantages of Fluotec products are a quality of light out of series. During 20 years of research and development that we have done in the company is the highest that exists in the market. We have competed with large companies internationally and our solutions have surpassed them. We have color rendering rates above 97.7%, which is somewhat surprising."

Noriega stressed that when appearing in a painting, the element to highlight for fluotec's lighting is talent: "What we are looking for in a TV light is that talent is highlighted. Color reproduction: skins, faces, scenarios are reproduced more faithfully. TLCI is a much more advanced index for TV. The quality of pure white light is the key to TV lighting. The most expensive part of TV productions is talent and it is who we should look like. Everything is important: the camera, the facilities, the engineering, but the one that appears before the audience is the talent. Then all our technological part is focused on making talent stand out. Using the right light is key to protecting talent and getting more people to see it."

He mentioned that the Mexican company's products are future-proof: "Despite the growth of resolutions, our light has optimal performance. As resolutions grow, better light is required and these lights we manufacture are designed to remove skin imperfections that come out in frame at high resolutions. Our products make it possible to eliminate any flaws that have talented skin that are magnified by using larger resolutions."
