Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR, is the new advanced monitoring solution in 8K with a DisplayPort connection presented by Blackmagic Design, which has two on-screen indicators, HDR compatibility, monitor calibration and 33-point 3D LUT and has been designed specifically for the film and television industry, in order to benefit from the new generation of monitors such as the Pro Display XDR.
The Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR is an advanced monitoring solution that supports 8K definition, as well as high-end display equipment and monitors with DisplayPort connection, such as the new Pro Display XDR.
Unlike basic converters, the Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR device allows you to use third-party calibrators for the purpose of correctly adjusting connected monitors for accurate color. It also offers the possibility of viewing two graphic representations simultaneously, such as the waveform, the chromatic components, the vectorscope or the histogram.
The front panel includes controls, an output to monitor the color of images, audio meters and signal format indicators. On the back panel there are four 12G SDI connections for HD, UHD and 8K sources. It also has two DisplayPort connections for common computer screens or USB-C DisplayPort for monitors such as the new Pro Display XDR.
This model allows you to see two signal indicators on the screen completely independently, in order to be able to comply with broadcasting standards in important high-end jobs. These are superimposed on the image, and it is possible to customize its position, size and opacity, or select from different options, such as the waveform, to see the luminance levels in the received signal.
The Teranex Mini SDI to DisplayPort 8K HDR model includes the same 33-point three-dimensional conversion tables used in the film industry. In addition, it offers the possibility of adjusting it with a USB calibrator.
All 12G SDI inputs have derived outputs to connect other equipment. Support for HD, UHD, and 8K sources is also provided, which is ideal for the film and broadcast industries.
