The United States restricted the operations of the Chinese-born company Huawei after accusing it of espionage in favor of the government of its country. The immediate effect of this measure is the suspension of Google's business with the Chinese company.
This means that Google will stop selling software and hardware to Huawei, which will directly affect its mobile devices, which will not receive Android system updates, although the applications will continue to be updated.
The problem is concentrated in new mobile devices, which will not be able to count on the Android operating system or the Google Play application store. Both companies reached an agreement, endorsed by the US regulator, for the measure to take effect in three months.
But Google is not the only one, other technology companies have also decided to follow the same path. Among them are processor makers Broadcom, Intel and Qualcomm.
