Argentina. Continuing with the policy of democratization of voices in communications, the president of the National Communications Agency, Enacom, Silvana Giudici, formalized the delivery of FM licenses in the city of Rosario (Santa Fe) who went from having Precarious and Provisional Permits (PPP), which in some cases were valid for 30 years, to being definitive licensees of radio stations.
During the meeting, the Executive Manager, Federico Storni, the Technical Coordinator, Luis Uribio, and the delegate in the city, Gastón Garetto, were also present on behalf of the entity.
"These permits, which were delivered precariously due to administrative issues and lack of political will, did not offer licensees the possibility of constituting themselves as such. That is why, from the current management and through Enacom we regularize the situation of these FM radios and that is why we are here delivering nine of these permits, "said the head of Enacom, Silvana Giudici, who met with the representatives of the different broadcasters that were beneficiaries.
In addition, he added that these broadcasters have been communicating and disseminating and doing dissemination and culture for many years in the city but that, however, they did not have the same rights as the other licensees.
The stations reached by this Regularization Plan are the following:
1. "FM METRO ROSARIO" - 91.9 MHZ
2. "RADIO ROSARIO FM 106.3" - 106.3 MHZ
3. "FM HEART" - 95.5 MHZ
