Colombia. In the company of filmmakers, producers and other interested parties, the National Television Authority (ANTV) carried out the socialization of this year's FONTV Call at rtVC's facilities.
Bogotá, April 11, 2019. The ANTV carried out this space in which Gabriel Levy, Content Coordinator; Claudia Silva, coordinator of Industry Development and Mariana Gutiérrez, coordinator of Legal, presented the objectives, categories, grounds for rejection and general recommendations for the participation of stakeholders in this call to be successful.
On the call, Gabriel Levy stressed that "it opens the possibility that we tell many stories of the country from a diversity as great and as rich as the one we have in Colombia. The idea is that the largest number of cultures, ethnicities, customs are represented and as an entity we are interested in the audiovisual industry being increasingly competitive, Colombia has been characterized by being a power in creative matters at the regional level. "
The ANTV opens this FONTV 2019 Call with several objectives such as supporting freedom of expression and development of culture; consolidate the audiovisual sector from its ethnic and cultural diversity; contribute to the strengthening and improvement of audiovisual processes under favorable financial conditions and generate an environment of competitiveness and quality improvement.
This year non-profit TV service operators, audiovisual content production companies constituted as a legal entity, and ethnic organizations that have technical capacity for the production of audiovisual content will be able to participate in this call.
