The Spanish company Estructure presented Kosmos Everywhere, its new journalistic platform, which stands out and differentiates itself for its user experience, after a remarkable work of the development team to adapt the platform and its workflows to the way in which operators and users prefer to do their work.
Kosmos is the Structure platform for the integral production of news, well known for its demanding use for almost 20 years in the EFE Agency, the most important Spanish-speaking news agency internationally. Kosmos platforms are currently being used successfully in newsrooms around the world.
We live in a permanently connected world, even more so in professional environments, and we relate to it through a multitude of systems, screens and devices, where location, in addition, is an almost irrelevant factor. According to this reality, Estructure has developed Kosmos Everywhere, as a natural evolution of its Kosmos platform, which now includes new features and allows 100% alternative use in the cloud, allowing to perform any of the tasks of the journalistic platform, in a really fluid way, through any browser or device, whether it is a workstation for this purpose, Portable PC, tablet, etc.
To simplify as much as possible the installation and licensing of the new platform in newsrooms that had older systems, these have been designed in the form of a compatible Plugin, which makes the operation fast and efficient.
