Blackmagic made several releases prior to NAB Show

Latin America. Prior to the NAB Show, blackmagic design announced two new products, the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and the DeckLink Quad HDMI recorder. In addition, the company also announced three product updates: Camera 6.2 Update, now with RAW for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K; Desktop Video 11.0 Update and Duplicator 4K 1.2 Update.

the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 camera, a second-generation version of the URSA Mini Pro model that includes redesigned electronic components, a new Super 35mm sensor with 4.6K resolution and a dynamic range of 15 stops to record at 300 f/s. In addition, it is compatible with the Blackmagic RAW format and has a USB-C expansion port that allows you to use external disks as a recording medium.

The URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 model represents a significant advance over the original version, as it includes all-new electronic components to streamline processing. It also has a Super 35mm sensor with 4.6K resolution that allows you to capture images of up to 4608 x 2592 pixels, with a latitude of 15 stops and a maximum ISO value of 3200. This provides the ability to record at 120 f/s with the full sensor and at 150 f/s (DCI 4K) or 300 f/s (HD 1080) reducing the usable area of the sensor. In this way, the camera is ideal for capturing audiovisual material of great dynamism, images of nature, sports and much more.

For its part, the new DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder model, a PCIe card with four independent HDMI 2.0b inputs that guarantee the simultaneous capture of images in SD, HD, UHD, DCI 4K or even in computer formats.

It has 8 lanes that allows data to be transferred at a maximum speed of 32 Gb/s. In addition, it features four HDMI 2.0b inputs for multi-channel capture, which in turn provides the ability to obtain four different signals at a frequency of up to 60 f/s. Each connection supports different formats, so it's like having four cards in one.
