Argentina. At the last Board meeting, the National Communications Agency, Enacom, approved the delivery of 34 licenses for low-power stations in the provinces of Catamarca, Corrientes, Jujuy and Tierra del Fuego.
This decision is part of the FM Regularization Plan that the agency launched in August of last year and that has two objectives: the award of licenses through a simplified public tender in provinces that have radio spectrum available and the regularization of stations that operate with Precarious and Provisional Permits (PPP) and Recognized Stations.
In the same sense, it was decided to open a new call for competition in the localities that remained vacant so that those interested can once again have the opportunity to complete the corresponding documentation. The dates on which they can be presented will be from April 8 to 17 for the provinces of Catamarca and Corrientes and from April 15 to 24 for Jujuy and Tierra del Fuego. In addition, it should be noted that this contest is still open in the provinces of Mendoza and Tucumán.
