Colombia. The managers of the regional channels met in Bogotá, at the facilities of the National Television Authority, ANTV, to meet with the director Ángela María Mora Soto and the members of the National Television Board, JNTV, Ernesto Orozco Orozco, representative of the Governorates; Suzy Sierra Ruiz, representative of Civil Society; María Camila Villamizar, representative of the President of the Republic and Gabriel Vieira Posada, representative of the Universities.
In this meeting, the managers of Telecaribe, Telecafé, Teleantioquia, Canal Trece, Teleislas, Telepacífico, TRO and Canal Capital discussed issues such as copyright, the diagnosis of audiovisual heritage, the third cycle of La Tele de Todos and attended the presentation of the HS. Iván Agudelo of the Ministry of Science and Technology, who made the proposal of the methodology in 10 practical steps for the conservation of the analog file of each channel.
At the meeting, Suzy Sierra thanked the director of the ANTV and her fellow Board members for the commitment and importance they have given to the conservation of the historical archive of each channel in which she noticed an evolution since her arrival at the entity. In addition, he invited the managers and representatives of the regional channels present to think seriously about how this analog conservation work will continue to be done in the material of the channels.
For the Authority, it is of the utmost importance to meet regularly with the managers of the regional channels and review those issues that impact its work. In this way the entity and the channels ensure that they are complying with their regions and with the country.
