Colombia. In development of the International Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and Colombia to provide technical assistance to Colombian authorities and operators in the implementation of digital television, from February 12 to 23, the first part of the experiential training activity in Europe is being carried out in the city of Barcelona.
In this activity participate delegates of the public operators RTVC, regional channels, the Commission for the Regulation of Communications (CRC) and by the National Television Authority, ANTV, is Ernesto Orozco Orozco, representative of the Governorates before the National Television Board.
In the training sessions, the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation, a public entity that operates the television and radio service in Catalonia, has shared experiences related to new windows for the distribution of content through the opportunities brought by the digital environment, implementation of strategies based on Big Data for the distribution of content and strategies for the commercialization of content on digital platforms.
In addition to the training sessions, the exchange of experiences and knowledge between the officials of the Corporation and the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia with the Colombian delegation was encouraged, on topics of special interest for the implementation of Digital Terrestrial Television and the current environment under which the service is provided.
