Colombia. The RCN Radio Cartagena headquarters, after its transfer of studies in that city, already has 100% Digital German technology thanks to a powerful infrastructure based on the technology offered by the DHD brand and integrated by Aspa Andina.
In this headquarters, 5 52-SX control surfaces have been installed with 10" multi-touch TFTs that allow the operators of each studio to perform audio routing tasks and share resources among all the studios of the headquarters through the APC AUDIO ® protocol patented by DHD thus achieving a communication capacity of up to 48 bidirectional audio channels between each studio and a centralized matrix, located in the link room or CPD.s
In the same way, a communication solution has been implemented through DANTE digital protocol that allows them to optimize audio connection resources of the consoles with the computers of the headquarters, thus eliminating expenses, wiring and susceptibility of unwanted noises in external audio cards.
Aspa Andina stressed that this is an avant-garde assembly one of the most advanced at the national level and clearly the most powerful in the region of the Colombian Caribbean coast.
