CRC changed Ritel's effective date

Colombia. The Communications Regulation Commission, CRC, extended the deadline to receive comments on the cost-benefit analysis of the alternatives for the implementation of the Regulation of Internal Telecommunications Networks, Ritel.

The entity granted an additional period, until Friday, November 24, 2017, as a deadline to submit observations and comments to the Regulatory Impact Analysis (AIN) document of the Ritel, which contains the development and result of the cost-benefit analysis of the different alternatives that the CRC has studied for the possible modifications required by the regulations.

Likewise, the entity issued Resolution CRC 5255 of 2017 "By which Article 8.2.2.1 of Section 2 of Chapter 2 of Title VIII of Resolution CRC 5050 of 2016 is modified", with which it establishes the entry into force of the Ritel for January 2, 2019.
