Nahuel Villegas, Vice President of Sales for Latin America of Grass Valley, told TVyVideo+Radio that "All our solutions on the stand were connected via IP, to demonstrate that all our solutions are IP or hybrid IP bandbase. There was a great focus on the production of live events, a segment in which we have a great experience and they were the most consulted solutions, "he said.
On the installation of IP technology in Brazil, he stressed that it is the future and more and more companies are thinking about converting parts of their workflows into IP.
The Director of Grass Valley said that "In Brazil and Latin America people are learning about IP, it is something new for the broadcast industry and that is why for a couple of years customers are being educated on the subject. In parallel, the standards for IP are being finalized."
