Chile. Proaudiotec professional school announced its calendar of Avid ProTools 12 system certifications for the second semester of this year available in Chile.
The following are the scheduled dates and modules:
- Introduction to Pro Tools: August 18-20
- Production with Pro Tools I: September 1-4
- Production with Pro Tools II: September 22 to 24
- Post-production techniques: 13 to 16 October
- Music production techniques: November 10 to 13
As an instructor in charge of these certifications will be Barry Sage, who began his career in 1975 at Trident Studios, London, going on to work as an assistant at The Basing Street Studios of Island Records. After working with rolling stones on two of their albums, he began working as a sound engineer and producer for important English bands.
In the development of his career he became known for productions of Hispanic bands such as Nicole, UPA, La oreja de Van Gogh, among others. Between 2004 and 2006 he worked as a TV music producer at Advision Studios (Great Britain).
