Colombia. The National Television Authority, ANTV, opened its call for promotion and financing for the production of audiovisual content for television 2017 and invited to participate operators of the public service of non-profit television open (local) and closed (community), companies producing audiovisual content and new creators and ethnic groups that have the technical and operational capacity for the production of audiovisual content.
The call that will receive proposals until April 28 at 11:00 a.m., has $ 2,700 million that will be destined to deliver 19 stimuli in three categories to promote and encourage the production of audiovisual content of public interest.
Category No. 1
Operators of the public service of non-profit television open (local) and closed (community)
For the production of:
• A narrated series that reflects the history and culture of the country for a maximum amount of $158.9 million.
• Two animated fiction series, aimed at young audiences, on the subject of value formation for a maximum funding for each series of $ 260.8 million.
Category No. 2
Open
For the production of:
• Four new fictional television series, minimum of four episodes each for a maximum amount of $350.3 million each series.
• Two unitary fiction chapters developed by new creators for a maximum funding amount of $59.5 million. Keep in mind that in the event that the producer opts for animated format, its realization must be in 3D.
Category No. 3
Ethnic groups constituted in accordance with the Law and which are recognized before the competent authority.
For the production of:
• Ten unitary documentaries that narrate the physical and religious cosmology of the ethnic group and/or its musical and/or gastronomic wealth, and its cultural value to society, for a maximum funding value of $50 million. As in the previous category if the producer opts for an animated format, its realization must be in 3D.
Between March 22 and 31, interested parties may send comments to the call in the mail [email protected] or at the facilities of the entity (Calle 72 No. 12 - 77 Piso 5 – Coordinación Legal), in the city of Bogotá.
Replies to these comments will be published on 10 April.
The final results will be published on 31 May.
