Latin America. Three new products aimed at broadcasting, web/streaming and AV markets, as well as a lighter version of Studio Cameras and with a new lower price, were introduced by the company Blackmagic Design. The novedaes are:
- ATEM Television Studio HD is the solution for live productions, aimed at users and professionals in the audiovisual industry. This device includes eight inputs, simultaneous monitoring of images, main and auxiliary outputs, inputs for analog audio, intercom system, two multimedia players, innovative transitions and visual effects, among other features.
- HyperDeck Studio Mini is a compact size recorder that allows you to store and play back 10-bit images on common memory cards. In addition, this model has 6G SDI connections that provide support for different definitions at a maximum resolution of 2160p30, as well as an HDMI input to monitor images. On the other hand, it includes an integrated synchronism generator and an Ethernet port, in order to upload multimedia files using the FTP protocol, which provides an ideal solution for digital signage systems.
- Web Presenter is a device that allows you to use professional SDI and HDMI sources to stream content through YouTube Live, Facebook Live and other similar services. In addition to including HDMI and 12G SDI connections, this device reduces the definition of the original material to obtain a signal in 720p format, just like that transmitted by a webcam.
Since all programs for the continuous transmission of content over the Internet are compatible with this type of camera, the Blackmagic Web Presenter offers the possibility of taking advantage of its features to disseminate images with a much higher quality. By transmitting in 720p, high definition is achieved with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and, at the same time, the speed required for the transfer of data from the computer equipment is much lower, which facilitates the process significantly.
- Finally, it introduced two new Blackmagic Studio Camera models without internal battery, which allowed the company to reduce its sale price. The HD version is available at $1495, that is, 200 dollars less than the previous value, while the price of the UHD model was reduced to $800 dollars, so it can be purchased at only $1695 dollars.
As before, these cameras can be controlled remotely from any ATEM mixer. The new ATEM Television Studio HD includes a communication system, making it ideal for use in conjunction with the new Blackmagic Studio Camera models, as there is no need for additional expensive control devices.
