Chile. The bases to apply for the CNTV 2017 Television Quality Promotion Fund, CNTV Fund, are now available, which can be downloaded from the www.cntv.cl website. This year the CNTV has $ 4,227,534,000 Chilean pesos and the results will be announced on September 5 at an award ceremony to be held at the Municipal Theater of Santiago.
One of the novelties of this year is that of this total amount to be delivered, at least $ 275,000,000 will be allocated to the Fund for the Production of Projects of Origin and Community Interest, which will also be delivered on September 5.
The application process starts today with the publication of the rules of both contests, in which applicants for the first time can compete through the same online platform fomento.cntv.cl; and will run until Friday, April 28, 2017. The entire application process is done online, in both cases, through the website.
For the CnTV 2017 Television Quality Promotion Fund, the phases contemplated are:
Phase 1: Filling out the form and uploading application documents on the online application site. Starts at 00:01 hrs. from March 27 and expires at 18:00 hrs. of April 25, 2017, both days included. Upon completion of this phase, a Pre-Certificate of Application is obtained issued by the online application system of the contest.
Phase 2: Upload of audiovisual model on the online application site. The system will automatically allocate a single day for each project, within the period between April 26 and 28, 2016, between 00:01 hrs. and 18:00 hrs. of each of them.
Applicants may submit different projects in one or more of the 8 available competitive lines or compete with programs through the Fund for the Production of Projects of Origin and Community Interest, which is again one of the CNTV's bets to put on screen original content, loaded with identity and closer to citizens.
"This year it will be more necessary than ever for a Chilean television that nourishes our screens with content that becomes a real contribution to the lives of all Chileans. Either through fiction, with good and original stories, remembering our past to learn, or knowing different realities through documentaries, "said the president of CNTV, Oscar Reyes.
