Mexico. The Federal Institute of Telecommunications, IFT, published the value of the amounts of consideration for the country's radio stations, which are estimated and informative and are calculated in accordance with the Calculation Methodology for Radio Consideration published on the Institute's website in the league: http://www.ift.org.mx/espectroradioelectrico/licitaciones
These amounts are calculated as of June 2016, in addition to having been the subject of opinion or authorization from the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) for concessions valid for 20 years. The final amounts to be paid will be those contained in the resolution finally issued by the Plenary of the Institute and must be updated with the corresponding inflation, according to the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) applicable on the date of payment.
Similarly, the amounts of the consideration are estimated in terms of the technical parameters of the radio stations, such as the Class; therefore, these amounts may have different values in the same locality.
