Caper. A strong strategy is applied by the SAM company to gain market in Latin America during this year. Proof of this is the presence of four members of the team that serves the region in the last version of Caper, including Rafael Castillo, vice president for Latam.
He spoke to TVyVideo+Radio and said that the results are highly positive. "In Latin America we have put a strong effort this year, more than what the company did in previous years. For me it will be triple-digit growth in 2016, for the company as a whole it will be growth between 30% and 40%, a significant figure for a region with a struggling economy."
Specifically in the Argentine market, SAM has been good because it has a large installed base in the areas of automation and processing. "The first half was good and in the last quarter we expect to close some good deals."
During Caper, the company's representatives had the opportunity to show customers from Argentina, Chile, Peru and Paraguay, at the stands of its two Argentine distributors, the most relevant solutions such as compact switchers, play out systems, signal processing and file-based processing.
