Colombia. After a complicated year economically and politically in Latin America, the Ecreso brand, belonging to the French Worldcast Systems Group, has managed to surpass itself and rise as a leader in the sale of transmitters in Latin America and especially in Colombia.
This has been possible thanks to several projects throughout the Republic of Colombia. Especially Interesting and Important has been the complete renovation of the Facilities of the University of Santo Tomas de Bucaramanga, where Ecreso, in partnership with the CIRT Installers, the engineers Alejandro Lozano and Camilo Gantiva, supplied all the transmission equipment, with a main equipment of 5 kw and a reserve e 1 Kw, both with digital exciter, in addition to the contribution of the Digiplexer HQ Sound 4B processor, with the best option on the market in the RDS generator.
"All this equipment is controlled, supervised and with the telemetry supplied by the teams themselves and with the Audemat Control Silver for the transmitting plant. Thus closing a complete chain of digital audio from the studios, the links and the transmitter part that make it a unique installation in Colombia and very prominent throughout Latin America, "Eduardo Villanueva, sales director for Latin America of Worldcast Systems, told TVyVideo+Radio.
Another very important supply that stood out was the delivery and installation of transmitters for the network of stations of the different armed forces of Colombia. In the different projects, transmitters have been supplied in almost all the powers of 750 w, 1 Kw, 2 Kw, 3 Kw and the most important contribution of 10 Kw for the main station in the capital, Bogotá.
"In these various projects we competed in tender with other international brands, being Ecreso superior Technically and offering a much higher quality/price ratio, which has allowed customers to enjoy superior technology at very reasonable costs," added Eduardo Villanueva.
He added that this equipment allows a lower energy consumption, a very high Quality in the Audio and also integrates all the Control and Telemetry of the Equipment, thus being able to be informed at all times of the status of its facilities and its measurements.
Finally, the representative of Worldcast Systems mentioned that this year the company has received several awards at world exhibitions, NAB 2016 and IBC 2016.
