Mexico. The acquisition of Volicon by telecommunications giant Verizon has changed the company's perspective in the Latin American market, said José Eduardo Fávaro, Volicon's Director of Sales for Latin America.
"We are making ourselves known in Mexico with our union with Verizon, from whom we were recently acquired. We are communicating this integration to our customers and presenting our products with Verizon," he said while participating in Expo Cine, TV y Video 2016, held in Mexico City.
He said one of Volicon's main goals is to integrate into Verizon's cloud environment. "We are already in the beta version of our teams with the possibility of integrating with the Verizon cloud, and that is quite interesting and for the coming months customers will see an advantage – for those who already have the product – of acquiring an upgrade of the content not only on-the-ground, but also in the cloud and distribute it anywhere in the world, "- Said.
Fávaro commented that the integration stage with Verizon is still in process, which will lead to greater market possibilities. "We're still integrating with Verizon, because that opens up a lot of possibilities for us. It's a telecommunications company, so they have a more global vision and that will give us a lot of opportunities for very big movement," he said.
